While my primary focus is in video, I have 5 years of experience creating visual art. In the recent past I have translated my training into creating aesthetically pleasing print media. This project contains examples of both.
During the fall of 2013 I was hired to co-plan a conference being held in conjunction with the Center for Latin American Studies at the University of Pittsburgh. I worked to support the director of the conference both logistically and artistically. I created this poster which was used to advertise the event across campus. This image was also used as the front page for the programs that were printed up and distributed.
For years I have been perfecting a style of drawing that uses abstract doodle-like shapes to create larger fanciful images. This is my most recent creation entitled "When Pigs Fly." This was created with ink on card stock.
